Defining the Project:
What are HaaS and SaaS?
Quite simply, HaaS and SaaS (which we will call HaaS so we don't have to
type as much) involve packaging all the

and Managed Services
into one low monthly payment. |

HaaS
Seminar
September 28th |
The goal is to provide for your clients a simple
and reasonably priced way to get all of their technical support
with no questions asked. For you, the consultant, it is a way to improve
cash flow, provide an ongoing stream of income, and provide a higher
level of service.
If you haven't been selling hardware or providing managed
services in the past, then this might be very new to you. If you do sell
hardware and managed services, then HaaS is really just the next logical
step.
What We're Doing: |

WOW!
You've gotta be whipping out the wallet, ready to drop a
credit card. How much, you're asking, do you have to pay for this
spectacular electronically-delivered program that will
change your business?
Well, we considered $89.95 (and knew we could get it).
Then we considered $49.95 (cuz someone said we could get it).
We even considered $29.95 (because it's so valuable).
But we decided to give this to you for
only $19.95
Give
it to Me Now
Here's why:
First, we put some effort into this little package and we think it's
worth something. That's why it's not free.
Second, If you charge $100/hr, you only have to save twelve
minutes of time to pay for this download!
Thank you for supporting me.

Raves
"Karl's kit
has allowed us to review our existing HaaS offering from another
perspective and make some beneficial changes. We found it to be a
refreshing, common-sense look at HaaS that not only helps companies to
accelerate their entry into the field but is also a way to improve an
existing HaaS structure."

HaaS Agreement Outline.
An
outline (paragraph by paragraph) of what you should put in a
HaaS service agreement.
The download does not
include a contract or service agreement. I took my ten-page contract
to a lawyer and you should, too. It does contain one-sentence
descriptions of each paragraph in the contract so you can write your
own.

FAQ
This section
will address the concerns to questions posed by consultants (and to some
extent by clients).
If you have a question or concern, please email me at
karlp@greatlittlebook.com
and put HaaS Question in the subject line.
I'm not going to bloat this little section. Many
questions will be discussed over at the Managed Services Yahoo Group.
I also encourage you to contact Amy Luby of Mobilize SMB
or Erick Simpson of Managed Services
Provider University for additional help and training .
FAQs

on FAQs, see
HaaS 1.0 on my blog.
Q. Do I have
to own
the equipment?
A. Well . . .
there are many options. You could simply lease the equipment, or have
the client lease the equipment. But if you want the client to see this
as a true "service" you are offering, then I think you should own the
equipment.
Many people
think that's too much risk for your business and they want someone else
to have the title/lease on the equipment. I understand that position as
well.

coming soon.
